At the end, please tap "Doctor: Verify This Summary" to confirm it's accurate — or correct anything. Nurses, please tap "Nurse: Update Medications" to read off the current med list. Thank you!

Critical Patient Information
Fill this in once. It fills your emergency card and your contact list automatically.

Set this up once — responders can see it instantly.
Once set up, anyone who picks up your locked iPhone taps Emergency then Medical ID — no passcode needed. They'll see your name, conditions, meds, allergies, and emergency contacts.
Open the Health app (it's built into every iPhone — red heart icon)
Tap your photo or initials in the top-right corner
Tap Medical ID
Tap Edit (top right) and fill in your name, medical conditions, medications, allergies, and emergency contacts
Turn on "Show When Locked" — this is the key step! — then tap Done
On newer iPhones it also lives here: Settings → Health → Medical ID. If the Health app shows no name at the top, you haven't set up a profile yet — tap the circle in the top-right corner of the Health app's Summary tab to start one, then Medical ID will appear.
The exact path varies by phone brand, but it works on all modern Android phones.
Open Settings
Tap About Phone (or Safety & Emergency on newer phones)
Tap Emergency Information and enter your name, medical info, and contacts

Open Settings → Apps → Safari
Tap Microphone and choose Ask or Allow
Also turn on Settings → General → Keyboard → Enable Dictation — this is what turns speech into text
Come back here and tap Test My Microphone below
In Safari, tap the Share button at the bottom, then Add to Home Screen. Opening it from that icon keeps the microphone permission for good.
